Summer Trip for Current 6th-7th Graders
MISSION TO MICHIGAN / JUNE 15 – 20, 2024
Our Junior Highers have the exciting opportunity to participate in our annual Mission to Michigan, while working with a Christian ministry called Encouragement Link near Felch, MI, in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Three Steps to Register for Mission to Michigan:
STEP ONE
East White Oak Registration
This step will include payment.
Cost: $175 Trip Fee + 2 meals while traveling
First Installment Due: May 5, 2024 ($75)
Second Installment Due: June 5 ($100)
STEP TWO
2024/2025 Medical Release
Even if you have filled out a Medical Release in the past, you must fill out a new form. Prior medical release forms will expire June 1, 2024.

Summer Trip for Current 8th-12th Graders
COLORADO DISCIPLESHIP ADVENTURE CAMP / JUNE 27 – JULY 4, 2024
This summer our Senior High (including current 8th – 12th Grades) will be traveling to Colorado Springs, CO for our Discipleship Adventure Camp. The purpose of this trip is to challenge our students and staff to consider Jesus’ call on their life as we experience different high adventure challenges each day, while relating them to the life of a disciple as we worship and talk them through around a campfire each night. Adventures will include team building, low and high ropes challenges, rock and rappel day, white water rafting, and a 14,000 ft peak ascent.
We will rent a portion of La Foret Conference and Retreat Center and stay in Yurts at night. We will travel via East White Oak’s bus and vans, staying at a hotel in Kansas on the way there and back. Trip cost = $650.

STEP TWO
Complete the waivers required by the Discipleship Adventure Camp
Three waivers are required for this trip:
- Journey Quest Whitewater Rafting
- Crossbearing Adventures
- La Foret Ropes Course Participation
The whitewater rafting waiver can be filled out entirely online. Fill out the waivers for Crossbearing Adventures and Ropes course with pen and paper, or use Adobe to fill out the PDF on your computer. Return paperwork to the Youth Room Mailbox or e-mail to [email protected].
STEP THREE
East White Oak Registration
This step will include payment.
Cost: $650 Trip Fee + 7 meals while traveling
First Installment Due: May 1, 2024 ($325)
