Join us for an All Church Worship Service under a huge tent!

Comlara Park is located minutes from the church to the north. Address: 13001 Recreation Area Drive, Hudson, IL 61748.

All regularly scheduled activities at East White Oak will be cancelled on September 12.

10:30 AM

Plenty of chairs will be available under our huge tent! Digital song sheets will be available on Oak Central the weekend of the picnic.

11:45 AM

Immediately following the service we will move over to the beach area where we will celebrate baptisms.

12:00 PM

Boxed lunches from Jason’s Deli include sandwich, chips, pickle, cookie, and water. Vegetarian and Gluten Free lunches are available by request. Suggested $5 donation per lunch. Reserve lunches when you sign up for the picnic.

Afternoon Activities: 12:30 – 3:00 PM

Canoes, Rowboats, Paddleboats, and Motorboats are available FREE at the marina. Please limit your use to 30 minutes.

Groups up to 10 people will spend up to 15 minutes in an inflatable Escape Room themed as an intergalactic library. You & your group are tasked with solving clues by finding a series of decoders, locks, and puzzle pieces that are locked inside hidden compartments of the library.

Drop off and pick up in front of the Beach House (where the restrooms are located). Enjoy a scenic ride around Comlara Park.

Flint the Firetruck and Dino the Dinosaur Slide, Jimmy Jam Basketball Jumpshot, and both Putts Perfect Mini Golf and a Birdie Ball Golf Driving Range will be available for all ages to enjoy!

Carl’s Ice Cream will serve dessert at 2:00pm. A dairy free dessert will also be available.

Nine Square in the Air, Volleyball, and other activities will be set up for you to use. The beach is available for children to play (no swimming). Explore Comlara Park, visit with friends, and enjoy the afternoon together. We hope to see you there!

Special Guest: The Narrow

Our special guest this year is the student band called “The Narrow” from Olivet Nazarene University. They will host an afternoon concert under the tent at 1:30 PM playing contemporary worship as we enjoy the festivities.

Friends and Family are welcome!

Friends and family are invited and we encourage you to consider this an outreach to your co-workers and neighbors.

Living Stone Communities

We have invited our church plant, Living Stone Communities, to attend the service, and Pastors Scott and Larry will spend some time in prayer updating us on what God is doing in West Bloomington!
